hi guys,

i am trying to figure this issue that's been happening in my home network for past months (maybe 2-3months+)

whenever I am working from home and video conference turned on (usually more than 10 people on camera and 20 people in total on voice), my home network will be having random packet drop. video conference will stuck and audio will stutter.

when the packet drops happen, game session will hang as well and resume later.

please refer to screenshot as below. this happens randomly in-between 5-18minutes during conference time.

I am suspecting somewhere dropping UDP packet on teams, but i can't confirm it because teams IP didn't appear at my router's dropped packet log.

contacted TM, they sent in people to check fiber health at router..no issue.

please help. its driving me crazy at this point just thinking about it!

Try to ping your router and google dns(8.8.8.8) at the same time.
And try traceroute. (Pingplotter)

TM network issue, report again to TM with those traceroute and ping screenshot.
Normal unifi technician cant fix this,it must be report to second level tech for someone who manage the network between your area to unifi core exchange network to fix it.

10.X.X.X hop is within TM internal exchange network, your router to those node already having problem,so it is unifi network problem.

Unless the packet loss is showing after hop 3(or non 10.X.X.X),then it "might be" some problem outside of unifi network.

TM network routing and latency is not that good.

If you have Time broadband coverage , it is recommended to use Time.

Time network routing and latency is much more better than TM since Time use their own infrastructures.
