VoWifi would be fine. 5G bands I dont dare say. Its not the rom, its the modem network bandwidth. China and Global sets might have different modem bandwidths.

1+ won't have any issue if unsupported device too .. my us set 1+ 9 can get 5g without any tweaks
But need to see the band later as in if CN one can support MY band

From GSM arena seems the CN variant can support Malaysia dnb

Both my realme & oppo China Rom can use 5G

If there are no difference on the network bands on the CN set vs Global set then there would be no issues.

Usually the modem bandwidths are different for CN model. But will have to see whats on offer for the OP12.

U can enable it using pixel.ims and shizuku app.

Vowifi is nice to have but now a days all call is by WhatsApp the mobile network now suck big time even not moving also will drop

You're right,  strange my mi11ultra can't get 5G with a 5G Sim card. Xiaomi really auta.

That means it's DNB problem not Xiaomi but strangely oppo realme no problem can get 5G. Your One plus open can get 5G right

I am using Oneplus 11 CN set with ColorOS 14. No problem with 5G. I am assuming Oneplus 12 CN set should be no problem too. 

Use Pixel Ims and Shizuku apps to enable VoWiFi.

After much complains on the VolTE issue, Oneplus developers finally get it into their thick heads to enable our local telco VoLTE settings into the modems. But still they would not put in VoWifi and hence why many are still not getting VoWifi. Tbh, Im sick and tired of these jokers already. Seems they are not to keen on making the phone user friendly for all. Come on VoLTE and VoWifi are standard settings that should work out of the box and here we are still needing to mod it here and there to make it work. Dont even get me started on 5G. 

I feel like OP 10 Pro got lots of stick from netizens but actual users not bother to correct the misconceptions.

I've been using OP 10 Pro since launch till now. Bought CN unit from Fastech, he flashed global ROM. No issues in terms of usability, VOLTE, VOWIFI, 5G (overseas) all working since Day 1. Haven't tried 5G in MY bcos I'm too cheap to upgrade to 5G package    But have been trying 5G during my overseas trips, it works.

Recently upgraded to Android 14, some bugs (e.g. touches not registering, notification bar not displaying full info) noticed more than in the past (which was quite bug free experience with OP phones). For the most part, it's useable la.

No complains about photos and videos. Haven't experienced heating issue.

All in all, it does what I need it to do. Will continue to use for another 2 years, depending on what new tech coming out in the future that interests me.

Price to performance ratio, still much better than Samsung & Apple flagships. OxygenOS miles better than other China phones. That's why Oneplus is still my go-to choice
