Not sure abt the 12R, but since it shares some similarities with the 12, I can only give you my 2 week impression of the 12. Coming from a Pixel 7 Pro, I got much better battery life and signal strength. In my condo lift, the P7P would be dead but i could still send messages and browse the web in the 12. Charging is fast, i don't even need to use the supplied charger (using my old PD charger is sufficient). Cameras I would say I am very satisfied with the 12, it has a more natural look but overall maybe the pixel just edges it, but not by much. And I can finally change icons using the stock launcher heh.

I got my set from Fastech Lim in Subang. With 1 year warranty (though it is mentioned if there is a warranty claim, the phone needs to go back to China).

The 12R genshin edition looks unique . The 12R, I believe it is known as the Ace 3 in China.

My main reason for changing is also due to poor signal on pixel 6a. Got damn tired of it.. even in train I saw others are using fine while mine are loading like shit... Really fedup. Ya op12r is rly tempting.. I am considering not going for the keqing edition though. lol

MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ on Xiaomi 13T Pro holds up against the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 on OnePlus 12R. Both processors hold up to day-to-day tasks without overheating,wuth the OnePlus 12R being slightly cooler than Xiaomi 13T Pro in temperatures. Personally I lean towards towards Xiaomi 13T Pro for the flat screen, but very envious of the exceptional battery life on OnePlus 12R

MediaTek nowadays don't have unstable connectivity issues anymore, and are on par with Qualcomm with signal quality. As long as you don't buy CN set, and only buy Malaysia local set, you don't need to worry about connectivity issue.

Pixel 6a if switch to OnePlus or Xiaomi smartphones, you will feel stranger to the OS, but you can get used to it. For Xiaomi smartphones especially, you need to remove ads after smartphone setup. I linked a guide below:

been playing genshin on this phone. didnt notice any throttling or frame rate issues, but im not so particular on those, so might miss them. so far game is smooth, didnt feel laggy or anything.

temperature also just normal while playing genshin, didnt notice any heat issue where u feel like ur hands are warm holding the phone. i would notice this since 1+7pro will become hot when playing genshin, laggy as well.

youtube was normal didnt notice any bug,

So far the only bug i find is some apps unable to open (loading and then closed by itself), like secret recipe app. not that important, and maybe coz developer didnt update to latest android version. but other than that, no issues so far...

mine is CN set flashed to global and region unlocked, by fastech.

im using ringke fusion x. will be a bit bulky but feels safe and protected even if accidentally dropped the phone. most important is it doesn't disturb phone use like side swipe screen still works, buttons press all work great and cutting seems perfect.

this casing hugs the side quite high but since i'm using original screen protector so it feels good for me, screen becomes almost flat not curved. not sure whether it will affect if using 3rd party tempered glass or not..

Ah okay. Anyway GX Bank got back to me and say its a known issue with the app when using it on OP12. They are working on it with no ETA.
