Am actually considering Xiaomi 14 and OnePlus 12 as replacement for my OnePlus 7T. Like the size of Xiaomi 14 but afraid of the bloateare and software issues with the new HyperOS.

Oh the other hand OnePlus 12 is quite huge and heavy. Even I do feel 7T is quite heavy after holding for a while

is there any display unit for OP12? trying to have a feel on the size and weight of this flagship. Meanwhile, my OP7T is still running strong though the battery life is weakening.

Can use VOLTE and VOWifi?

I'm using OP7T but been having Gmail notifications issue since the upgrade to Android 12, ie no Gmail notifications alert unless you open the apps manually. Is this issue resolved in OP12?

When creating a folder on the home screen, seems like we can have 3 icons in a row in a folder. Is there any way to increase this to 4 icons in a row?

Does anyone use the default Internet by ColorOS browser that came with OP12?

Few issues I found:

1. In Settings, I set News Language to English but when I go to home page, the news in the Recommended tab is always in BM instead of English

2. This apps seems to be killed in the background after a while, resulting in those pages that have been logged in, forced to logout. There's no settings to keep the apps running in the background it seems

Anyone face the same issue?

In the camera apps, is there any difference between Photo mode and Master (Auto) mode? Is Master (Auto) mode a better option to take aim and shoot photo?

When you click on Scan to Pay button in Grab, do you see Scan my QR Code link at the bottom?

I realized my Grab don't have this link. I tried to uninstall Grab and reinstall. Upon reinstall and relogin to apps, on the home page, I can see the Scan button on top right corner of the home page. If I click this Scan button for the first time, I can see this QR Code link at the bottom.

If I kill the apps, the Scan button will appear on the top left corner of home page. If I click this Scan button on top left corner of home page or Scan to Pay button inside Finance menu, Scan my QR Code link disappear.

Does anyone of you have this issue? Been uninstalling and reinstalling Grab apps for few times but all same result.

PS: I checked with my family members phones (Samsung and Xiaomi), all no issues showing Show my QR Code

Yes, granted permission for notification, phone, camera and location. Also granted additional photos and videos permission. Are you guys having the same permissions for Grab?

But been getting inconsistent issue, sometimes the link shows up, sometimes not but most often not showing up.

Have you tried to clear data or clear cache for the Grab apps? It seems like the apps has permission issue with phone and/photos and videos permission.

I've actually contacted Grab customer service on the random missing QR code and they acknowledge it's a big on this side for some phones (they mentioned Huawei, Honor, OP). Will be fixed in future updates but no promises on the release dates

I have no problem swiping from left or right side edge to go back

What's the limitation of China ROM which comes with OP13 currently compared to global ROM? I'm aware that we will not be able to use Google Pay, Android Auto and eSIM. Any other limitations?

PS: I can accept some China apps if they cannot be uninstalled
