Currently running OxygenOS15 global version on my CN version 1 week already. It's amazing. Everything working well but as rooted user.

What app/service that you use that must be rooted to function?

Last time I always root my phone but past few years I feel Android is good enough without the need to be rooted anymore.

btw how's the battery life? The Silicon NanoStack battery supposed to offer much better battery life and that really tempted me.

because i'm rooted, definitely will brick my phone if relock the bootloader. and easier to do the update through local install because if not need to wipe data everytime want to flash new update.

The current thing was currently got some issue from ColorOS convert to OxygenOS which is they cannot modify the signal .img because of the signature that 1+ made, it will break the signature if they modify it. looks like there's some sort of strict thing that 1+ has done to make sure people will buy the Global version instead of CN version and easily convert to Oxygen Os. As we know CN version much cheaper than Global version. Rm1000 different it's quite a lot. So need root to make sure can fix the signal once convert to Oxygen OS. And there's some bug which is phone will auto reboot if they use auto connect wifi for none rooted user.

Battery life was great as if heavy gaming can last for 13hrs with 6-7hrs SOT. If not doing any gaming atleast will last 1 and half day.

They got tele group which is a great community that helps each other for people who bought CN version of 1+. They assist almost 24hours non stop.

Be patient. They will be able to iron out the issues soon. Just like when OP12 came out, they region locked the phone preventing you from making outgoing calls when using a foreign sim card. They overcame that too.

yeah looking forward to it, kind of too old to do this. The last time I played with flashed anything related to OS was the Galaxy S1. Nowadays, there's too much to learn, and it takes a lot of time to understand the whole process to make sure my 1+ won't brick LOL. But hat's off to all developers that willingly do this without expecting any cents from everyone.

Finally bought OP13 from Oppo store few days ago. A happy return from OP1 a decade ago lol

One minor quirk to clarify, really no quick tile for AOD? Can't specify AOD to activate based on specific hours for specific days so a quick title would really be helpful to toggle on/off.

I'm an user of OP13. So far my soc with full WiFi is around 7-8 hours. 5G can last around 6-7 hours.. I think it's in acceptable range?

Hi. Is the OP13 warm or hot when opening apps like Facebook Whatsapp TikTok YouTube? Google search says 8 Elite is a "warm" chipset.

I've never experience phone turn warm before. Even on mlbb for several hours.
