If the seller who flashes the rom to OOS relocks the bootloader, you would not have any issues using G Wallet.

Looks like I'm staying on with Oneplus after so many years of up and downs with the brand.

Nope.

12GB.

Chinese variant comes with a nice ori backcover in the box. Not the usual cheapo tpu version.

TBH, once I have the phone in my hands, I find the weight of the phone to be not too bad. It's not too heavy but its not lightweight either. If you compare to the S24 Ultra, it is still lighter. Well a bigger phone with bigger display will certainly come with a higher weight. 200ish grams phones are the norm nowadays.

If you prefer something smaller and lighter, you can opt for the 12R. nod.gif

Anything above 192g, I am reluctant. My last P30 pro is this weight, tangan sakit. That's why I am interested in Xiaomi 14 but most people discourage me cause says after update sure a lot of bugs.
My Realme GT Neo 3 only 188g, just nice but lags and no 5G cause CN set.
My moto G82 best 173g saja but this is a problem model. Changed new set under warranty still problem.

I would not say Xiaomi Miui would have a lot of bugs, but I particularly dislike the bloatware and the adware that comes with Miui. It takes a little bit of work to uninstall all the bloatware but the adware is totally annoying to me.

Looks like there wont be much choice for you because all the flagship models are above 200grams. Even the Oneplus 12R is slightly more than 200grams.
Your only choice would be the smaller sized mid range phones which are quite light.

I only found Imak's TG which is the only 'branded' ones. The rest are unbranded TGs. Nillkin has film type screen protectors on a set of double but Im not in SP. Since it came preapplied with an ori SP, I will use it until its unusable and then only replace it with TG.

Haha.. thought I wanted to give up on Oneplus. But with the OP12 this round, Oneplus has really turned things around. Back as the Flagship killer, flagship hardware and tech and optimized firmware but priced on the middle bracket. That is what all Oneplus fans have been looking for.

TBH I have contemplated on switching to Samsung.... but deep down I know I would not be able to accept One UI after so many donkey years on Oxygen OS. sweat.gif

Xiaomi 14 in Malaysia is 193g, quite heavy for a small phone. The 188g Xiaomi 14 version is pink colour which is exclusive to China only.

But if you're aiming for lightweight flagship Android, it is either Samsung Galaxy S23 (168g) and S24(167g), or last year's Xiaomi 13 (189g)

https://www.kimovil.com/en/compare/samsung-...9210l,xiaomi-13

If possible, there's an upcoming lightweight flagship launching in Malaysia that I'm looking forward for its price, the Vivo V30 Pro at 188g weight and 5000mAh battery, launching on March 13 this week. The Vivo V30 Pro also has 512GB UFS 3.1 storage

Vivo is bringing their X series Zeiss collaboration down to V series and putting a proper flagship chip in the V30 Pro, so it's going to be interesting to fit its motto of thin and light.

I feel u bruh. There's a thing or two about samsung thats hard for us to accept. In my case, locked bootloader is a huge turn off.

It worked on my previous phone. Dont see why it wouldn't on the OP12. Let me try it out first.

Everything works out of the box with a Samsung and being so there is nothing to mod. You dont need to unlock the bootloader bro.

Yeah for basic features vowifi 5g etc. I guess I was wrong unlocking bootloader for qualcomm chipset is not an issue anymore on samsung current iteration. But root access and modding are still a necessity for me sweat.gif
