Hi,
If we get the sim number transferred from corporate to personal number (post paid) and Celcom failed to provide bills for 5 months, due to system issue. Despite calling, complaining, can service provider claim for past months bills, which were shown earlier as zero ?
How can we dispute ? What are the laws in this case ?
Celcom have the right to claim their dues even though they didn't bill you unless you are able to provide evidence that service was not rendered in the first place. Do be prepared if suddenly you receive a letter/note from a debt collector asking for the 5 months dues. (Safeguard yourself from being blacklisted but this does not discount your responsibility to settle the dues) Advise to keep evidence that you did communicate to them regarding your bill but they were the one who failed to response/in err.
