when you create a post, then make another post within a short period, lowyat will block you, preventing spam, its a good feature. but lets say the user is editing its own post, lowyat should not prevent user from doing so(edit the same post within few seconds after posting or edit twice in a quick succession), cause most of the time its fixing typo or mistake. I dont see why editing the same post should trigger spam check.

Hijack you thread for a related suggestion.

Maybe also allow the last post can be deleted (if without reply at the bottom). Only the last post.

So if I make a post like:
-post #1 by ali
-post #2 by ah meng
-post #3 by ali

I can delete only post #3 if I am ali.

Another suggestion is to indicate how many times a post has been modified.

Like "Edited by ali for 5 times".

Or, from phpBB old version:

"Last edited by FlierMate on 31 Dec 2021, 07:39; edited 17 times in total"
