Hi all! We went to JPN Kajang did all the form submission, we chose to have the "swearing ceremony/ROM" in Putraya, we informed the officer, then waited 21+1 days. Went back to JPN Kajang, made payment (RM10) for the approval letter plus collected all the forms back again. According to the officer, we are to go to Putrajaya along with all these documents to make an appointment for the "swearing ceremony/ROM", anytime but no more than 6 months. I'm a bit confused here, if we go to Putrajaya now, is to straight away doing the ROM or just making a booking for the ROM date? Thanks! Appreciate your advice.

1. Submit form JPN.KC01 at JPN Kajang (Hulu Langat).
2. JPN Kajang will issue a receipt of confirmation that you already submitted you application for ROM. From that day onward in 180 days, you have the 'licence' to get married.
3. If you plan to register you marriage at JPN, you must wait at least 21 + 1 days because JPN will put your application on notice board in case anybody/party want to object the ROM.
4. After 21 + 1 days, you can register you ROM at any JPN branch of your choice.
5. While waiting for 21 + 1 days to finish, you can go to the JPN branch you want to do your ROM to book a ROM slot there. Slot are limited so must do it fast. Bring along the receipt as prove you already submit your application.
6. After 21 + 1 days or more, you can go back to the JPN branch you submitted your application, to get that application form and on the ROM date, bring the application form together to the branch you going to do your ROM.

This only applicable to ROM at JPN branches only.

Hope this help.

Thank you so much for your advice, it helps a lot!
I thought I can only book ROM slot after the 21+1 days period...
I actually wasted the 21+1 days on waiting instead of going to Putrajaya to make the ROM slot.
Now all my documents are sealed inside an envelope by the officer...
So I guess I need to bring the whole envelope to Putrajaya JPN to book the ROM slot, coz I don't dare to open the envelope myself.

Thanks and regards!
