well this is exactly what i thought.
I've never been to the US but from the various movies, about diners that serve breakfast,donuts, pancakes, nobody give a shit about the coffee.
its bad and burnt but its free refill.

most of the time its depicted as diners along the way, open at ungodly hours and its out of convenience.
it is exactly how i envision mcdonald's coffee. its bad but it has it value, if its free refill
its a place to have breakfast. and the free refill coffee is a bonus.
