Hi, I would like to ask whether there is official apps for Apple TV that streams Malaysian TV channel. Like in the US, they have Hulu. I am aware there is non-legal IPTV provider, but what I am looking for is legal apps if there is. I am looking for something like Sooka but they don’t have Apple TV version.

As of now, none. Consider buying certified Android TV devices (e.g.: Nvidia Shield Pro, Chromecast with Google TV, Mi Box S, etc.) to stream local live TV.

Of course, no hassle. Just download through App Store on your Apple TV.

I recommend you to buy any cheap but high quality 4KTV, TCL or Hisense for example, for the best 4K viewing experience.

Then plug in Apple TV 4K 64GB or 128GB+Ethernet to start streaming.

ooh, brands like TCL or Hisense had always been a no-go for me as their marketing always seems like marketed for cheap with low quality

I was looking at the Sony Bravia series.

I got my ATV 4k yesterday and hooked it up. Works great and my Philips TV has a purpose now. But the TV has a strange issue where it keep flickering only when not streaming. It works fine if I play something on the screen.

Also, the VIU app on tvOS is crap. You cannot use the app without paying for the subscription.
