What la you guys. He is just doing comparison on paper only la. All the data he has are from brochure and is available online. .This is what most people that buys cars on engine power and price be looking at anyway.
Some are buying it on price to equipment.
Some buys it on price to space.
Some buys it on price to looks.

But if you are comparing S70 to everything from Vios/City/Corolla/Civic. This car dips its toes in 2 car segments. Because it will be cheaper and bigger car to buy than vios/city. And is just as powerful as Corolla and Civic.

If you are of sane mind and just wanna buy a car that has everything on a value preposition, the S70 is a no brainer. Many would think the that the Toyota & Honda has the reliability trump card. Proton can only show 3 years of reliability from the X50 engine that is being used by the S70. But it cannot deal with Toyota/ Honda resale value that took many years to build up.

For Proton, spare parts availability is still a major lingering issue.
