There are 2 scenarios that can play out.
1 ) Sue and lose because gomen/doctor followed procedure
- You lose time + money. Overworked and underpaid government doctor lose time + extra stress.
2 ) Sue and win X money
- You lose time + MAYBE gain money ( As lawyer costs might be higher than what you win ). Overworked and underpaid government doctor lose time + extra stress.
Up to you to sue, but if scenario 1 plays out, you probably fucked some young person thats helping 1000s of people per year for very little pay.
But judging by the fact by your statement ( us as a family are unable to accept this ), I think even if scenario 1 plays out, you/your family wouldn't care and would still blame the doctors/legal system.
Also as your dad is old, and if he has pre existing comordities ( Other diseases ).. well don't know la.
When covid was rampant last time, the government prioritised saving young + healthy people instead of old + comorbid people.. dunno if its that bad again..
