There are 2 scenarios that can play out.

1 ) Sue and lose because gomen/doctor followed procedure

- You lose time + money. Overworked and underpaid government doctor lose time + extra stress.

2 ) Sue and win X money

- You lose time + MAYBE gain money ( As lawyer costs might be higher than what you win ). Overworked and underpaid government doctor lose time + extra stress.

Up to you to sue, but if scenario 1 plays out, you probably fucked some young person thats helping 1000s of people per year for very little pay.

But judging by the fact by your statement ( us as a family are unable to accept this ), I think even if scenario 1 plays out, you/your family wouldn't care and would still blame the doctors/legal system.

Also as your dad is old, and if he has pre existing comordities ( Other diseases ).. well don't know la.

When covid was rampant last time, the government prioritised saving young + healthy people instead of old + comorbid people.. dunno if its that bad again..
