Do you need one with the dock that does auto emptying, auto water refill, auto mop pad washing all?
If yes, then a budget of 2k is probably not enough. And also need to take consideration into the space availability, the dock are damn bulky
During major sales event like 11/11, you should be able to get Roborock Q Revo that does all the above for below RM3k

If there's no need for the fancy automated dock, can consider the basic Roborock Q8 Max - got mine at 1.4k during 11/11

also a note to TS, when you say detergent, keep in mind you cannot put any off the shelf detergent (like those you use for normal floor mopping) into the robot. The detergent have to come from the robot brand itself

Its really helpful if your house has minimal clutter on floor.

Use it daily and the max you just need to mop every fourthnight.

If my house got no carpet, which one is the cheapest ? By the way, I am a bit worry to order from Shoppee. I heard stories of they just campak/throw the parcel around during delivery. sweat.gif

ANother thing is about the warranty. With RM2k electronic product, I will usually go for an extended warranty. Not sure if there is any option to add extra years of warranty.

Like what I said above, Dreame L10S Ultra

If overbudget then consider L10 Ultra, but you don't get auto detergent and camera obstacle avoidance

Roborock Q Revo also a good choice but price more or less like L10S Ultra. App and vacuum/mop performance slightly better than Dreame but you dont get extra features like auto detergent and camera obstacle avoidance

My house living area only thing that is on floor is dining table, dining chair and sofa

All cabinet is floating type coz I hate shit I have to remove to clean dust every time

I use basic xiaomi robot vacuum is enough to get rid of those body hair and dust

Mop I do myself coz those robot absolutely suck at removing water stain or oil within my budget of 3k. Worst if it’s oil due to cooking in kitchen it will spread the oil further

Mop with your own bare hands better. Much more satisfying

With that price range xiaomi s10 probably the best choice coz it has mapping technology others brand their build quality won't be as good as xiaomi coz xiaomi their build quality confirm will be better . U can go youtube easily search xiaomi review and how it works.

Now Shopee/Lazada got extended warranty already. When u purchase items just tick the warranty. Extra 1 year only though.
Shopee is underwritten by AIA, Lazada not sure.

If u buy from shop can even go until 5 years if u willing to pay the premium.

I feel 3.6k is a bit expensive for Roborock Q Revo considering the fact that it went as low as 2.6k IINM during 11/11
In fact the Dreame L20 Ultra with mop extend arm (not available on Roborock) was sold for 3.4k only during 11/11

If you're poor guy like me, need to buy vacuum and mop separately:

mop:-

https://shopee.com.my/Shinebot-by-ILIFE-W45...9e-b4d4a130a683

vacuum:-
https://shopee.com.my/ILIFE-L100-LDS-Laser-...53-c68d2a010469

Please don't buy mop + vacuum

all sucks....

Obviously Dreame L10S Ultra sucks in mopping because it doesn't pump clean water to mop and remove the dirty water.

It just keep pumping and recircling dirty water.

This is stupid way to mop actually.

The way to mop is supply clean water to scrubber and remove the dirty water like this one:

Yes, it only washes at the base station which sucks. We need it to remove dirty water while mopping floor.

I repeat, it doesn't remove dirty water while mopping the floor.

Do you understand or not?

Recircling is not recycling. The mop do a circle motion and keep circling the dirty water and keep adding clean water does not make a good mop.

dirty water need to be removed

Need opinion, have not use any robot vacuum cleaner before because I always have doubt in my mind.

How clean can a robot vacuum cleaner clean? Because from what I can understand, it will move in random direction, I saw some can move in a particular direction, but won't it still miss a spot?

What do you mean? There's a clean water tank and dirty water tank

The clean water tank is supplied to the robot everytime its empty, and also the base station to clean the mop pads

All dirty water from washing the mop pads is pump back to the dirty water tank

Obviously this is different from traditional mopping but cannot expect robot vacuum to perform the same. Its never meant to be on par anyway

Robot vavuum mopping is meant to keep already clean floor even cleaner, that's about it. Is just like using those wet tissue to mop instead of traditional mopping

If u want to focus on just mopping and forget everything else then maybe you're right. But getting a robot vacuum is more than that. App support and spare parts is equally important. Im this instance nothing can beat Roborock, other Xiaomi related OEM like Dreame is catching up

No worries

I just want to teach others that there's no such thing as good robot mop + vacuum

If L10s cannot mop dirty floor, then its useless

Fair enough. But like what I said, the mopping function on these combo robot is just more like a supplement. Just like how you use those wet tissue based mop to mop floor. To some this is sufficient because their floor dont get too dirty with substances, it just requires vacuum to get rid of dust and a quick wet mop. Like for me staying alone in a new house, this is more than enough

L10s actually is great because the mop is spinning one. Sure mop better than conventional cloth only robot vacuum + mop.

EDITed:-

omg, I just go search in Lazada and found one robot vacuum and mop that does something like ilife Shinebot

https://www.lazada.com.my/products/2-years-...7MaAlDdEALw_wcB

This one got dirty water tank to suck up dirty water

This is a fairly new model i think. Saw this recently on social media also

If its really Xiaomi OEM (can link to xiaomi app) and not fake brand making use of Xiaomi name then its worth considering

[EDIT] seems like it uses Mi Home app. Then its pretty good i guess. But the obvious cons I can see is it doesn't have any obstacle avoidance sensor or tech at all. To some is not a deal breaker as long they keep the floor clear and dn hv pets

vacuum:-

It's actually iLife shinebot w450

Detergent you need to spray on the floor first and you ask shinebot to clean the floor.

Any detergent also can.

I bought Dreame L20 Ultra last 11.11 with waterkit system @ RM4300.

First-time-robot-user, i can say although a bit expensive but i didnt frequent sweep and mop already
Can assign robot sweep and mop at particular area using phone while replying this terek.

Quite convenient i would say, and because i bought the waterkit, so no need to change water every 3 days, in fact no need to monitor the watertank at all.
But some situation still need manually sweep and mop constantly especially kids eating merata-rata.

One of the best gadget i bought.

Robot you can't buy low end. It's useless when i first contact with low-end robot Xiaomi 1C 3 years ago, it's cheap during back then, my brother got it for RM800 and put at my parent home. But seriously the vacuum macam not functioning at all.

Going for highend robot now got hot steam spin mop, Lidar scanner, my L20 got live cam can see from app, can manually ask robot go around also macam CCTV, schedule cleanning settings/mode. Lots of setting can be done from the App, low suction, wetter water etc.

You either go low-end basic function for sweep, or spend more bucks go sweep+mop at high end expensive robot. My family very particular in floor cleaniness, it really helps a lot, save a lot time also a lot effort.

I am using QRevo MaxV for 1 month

Pro
- got camera. You can use it to check your house like cctv when you are not at home
- detection is almost perfect because it has real camera and radar
- cleaning is good as per expectation

Con
- rm3.6k

If my house got no carpet, which one is the cheapest ? By the way, I am a bit worry to order from Shoppee. I heard stories of they just campak/throw the parcel around during delivery.  sweat.gif

ANother thing is about the warranty. With RM2k electronic product, I will usually go for an extended warranty. Not sure if there is any option to add extra years of warranty.
*
Bought Ecovacs DEEBOT N8 PRO from Shopee for RM1,5XX in September 2021.

Only have a simple dock. Don't have auto emptying, auto water refill, auto mop pad washing.

My house has no carpet. But my house has 3 indoor levels (single storey house). So I have to move the docks 3 times so it has 3 maps.

I think the Ecovacs DEEBOT N8 PRO model has been discontinued.

Hi, I used XiaoMi 1C previously, and find it reliable. However, my robot vacuum malfunction recently and I intend to buy a new one.

Wld like to check what’s the replacement model for xiaomi 1C. Notice that this model is no longer available in the market.

A decent RM2,000 robot will do general cleaning. Eventually a RM5000 robot also need you manually cleaning every 2 weeks, if you're a hygiene person, the more frequent you need to wash the pad and clean your water tub or wash the base.

I would say Xiaomi robot has its feature and strength but in Malaysia robot market, Dreame, Ecovacs & Roborock put a lot marketing effort on it. That's why Xiaomi can always retain low pricing value while others competitor setting high mark up.

There is no wrong choosing Xiaomi X series vacuum, and i think it's value for money.

My xiaomi x10+ China Version after use nearly 2 years the battery spoiled, full bar gone in 15 mins when left 2 bars suddenly died and won't return back to charge. Luckily buy extended warranty. Google says it's not just replace battery, got problem with the board resistor for other xiaomi model la. Wonder anyone have better brand and can last long. Heck this robot I barely use maybe once every 2 weeks or more only use once.
