In a tweet by Malissa, she shared that she has been a customer of six different banks – Maybank, CIMB, RHB, Muamalat Bank, UOB and Hong Leong Bank.

However, she believes that out of the six banks, the most secure are Hong Leong Bank and UOB. She added that Maybank’s security is the most questionable to date.



Many also share Malissa’s opinion about Maybank being the least secure. Some Maybank customers shared their bad experiences, like one who had more than RM600 deducted from their account without a prompt notice and another who lamented their customer service.

having used cimb, alliance, public bank, maybank, UOB, rhb, i choose to put all my savings in alliance, maybank only for monthly expenses, nthg more.....

but i do agree with her, ever since MAE release to public, mbb like shit....

I previously used Citibank credit cards. Now they come under UOB. I must say UOB is more secured, but to the point of being troublesome.

OTP is 8 digits, instead of 6 digits as in other other banks.
I can memorize a 6-digit OTP. But for 8 digits, I need to write down on paper

Also, when I try to view my statements on PC, I need to approve it on mobile app.

MBSB the most mafan.. Everytime want to transfer money, have to answer questions

Also, I got locked out of my MBSB account then the IT fella called me.. He said I had too much money in my account and because I logged in to my accounts too many times in a day

PBB will ask for pin everytime u transfer.. Eventhough it's under Favourites..

MBB and CIMB are the most user friendly among the 4 banks

I beg to differ. I used 5 banks here and every time my visa expire, PB is the first to lock my account. Can't do shit until I need to walk in branch and update my passport personally. Damn mafan.

Last time i buy RM2 ebook via playstore with Maybank cc and thy straight call ask izit i using cc . Bank system will learn ur habit if it is not ur regular buying habit thn system will flag it. Another case , early morning like 8am call me say already deactivate my Maybank cc and send me replacement becoz jz now got ppl use it to subscribe spotify , thy straight knw it wasnt me and deactivate it .

Using MBB, HLB and PBB.

MBB = most user friendly and efficient. HLB = work like turtle. Same thing from MBB can be done in 15 mins, HLB takes 2 weeks also no jalan.
