QUOTE(yenchenje @ Feb 29 2024, 09:05 PM) Finally account works again in MyUnifi, but as expected, no more free upgrade notification and the “Change my plan” part has the upgrade to 2Gbps option is back. I think nothing to worry. You should get the upgrade. Even the app developer also confuse. I wonder what is the status for the ONR or there is something else that stopping them from upgrading 800 and above.Guess Shitnifi is back with their bullshit after upgrading everyone below 500Mbps and just abolishing the 800Mbps and above plan subscribers lol Original - SWU 3.0 1Gbps |

QUOTE(chunhoecch @ Mar 12 2024, 09:13 AM) ![]() Applied SWU3.0 last year to 300mbps, then got a message in-app about speed bump. Was thinking that I'll get the permanent 500mbps as announced by the government's double speed upgrade. But today, I noticed the message disappeared from the app. Are we not eligible for that? |

QUOTE(Ashren @ Jun 19 2024, 08:24 AM) The lower the hop count the better. See this is what I meant by differences in local routing (gateway ip) to the same remote destination. If you get connected to a bad or underperformed local gateway your connection to the remote destination be it a website or server will be affected. For normal browsing usage its fine but for ping based apps like online gaming or video conference apps you can tell the difference. Higher hop count doesnt always mean bad connection but the ideal is to get it as low as possible. I get 16 with 124.xxx and somtimes 18 with 175.xxx Mikrotik pppoe client always use the default 1480. Not a big deal as I don't notice much. Also take note of your MTU number there it should be 1492 PPPoE. You can live with 1480 but its not optimal because of packet fragmentation. Anything lower or higher on a PPPoE connection will create packet issue on your side for example on ping based apps like online gaming you'll get intermittent packet loss. Since we're on Unifi PPPoE just set your MTU to 1492. Theres overhead and fragmentation issue if you mismatch. Here's some easy to understand general info Hops https://www.lifewire.com/what-are-hops-hop-counts-2625905 MTU https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/network...er/what-is-mtu/ |

QUOTE(Ashren @ Jun 19 2024, 10:06 AM) Yeah Mikrotik default is 1480 same as Xbox consoles. It doesnt hurt having that number on a 1492 link but its under utilized. As I said it before you can live with 1480 but some apps, device, sometimes dont play nice. If it doesnt affect your setup, just continue as it is. I always thought it is using 1492 that I set. https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=146034 |

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Aug 9 2024, 03:45 PM) The order was marked as completed in their system on July 30, 2024, but the tracking number provided remains untraceable to this day. Why we have this weird completed status when consumer not even receiving yet? What is the logic in the whole process? This is so wrong.I have raised a ticket with MCMC regarding this issue, and TM informed me that the delivery time frame is within 14 days after the order completion. They assured me that my device should arrive by 16 August, 2024. |

QUOTE(overfloe @ Sep 6 2024, 12:21 PM) I just received this sms: received the same sms but no change in speed or plan name."Hi. Do you know we've upgraded your account xxx@unifi to a higher speed for FREE? Your profile will be updated soon. Enjoy your new speed!" This legit? I am not aware Unifi is offering free upgrade recently. I can't test coz not at home at the moment. |
