Got my 10 years old ONU replaced with the GN630V (Skyworth) and was setup as bridge. Yay! Now the limit is my devices, my PC has only gigabit, so not reaching 1000Mbps when doing speed test. I guess that should be fine. My switch also 1000Mbps, but my Mesh is 2.5GBps ports.
*
Gigabit port limited to 940Mbps

I see it now I thought -6 means Disney get 6months

Disney will be in other column on bill maybe if available. I done know but in myunifi app it will part of add-on unifi tv. The OTT must be activated. It's normal for package with tvpack bundle.

Reported to MCMC for speed upgrade, responded within a week before CNY week

Upgrade is scheduled for tomorrow

I've gotten my FSU from 1g to 2g since last year. But the plan's name was never changed. Have yours already changed to 2Gbps - Pro Upgrade?

Basically I verify WAN port by pppoe dial-up using laptop. For your situation if I am you, I'll use the mesh as main router to verify the speed.

Me also because my router given back in 2017 was old one (in their system)

So they sent me a ZTE white combo for my FSU 300 Mbps to 500 Mbps citing reason as old router in their system could not support 500 Mbps

Even I told them I using own router but they follow their system record (must replace) so they said fine to just keep it as backup

SO I am still using BTU + router hopefully the BTU will last longer grin.gif

Yes, bill still isn't out for Feb that reflects the changes

Technician came today and upgraded to 2Gbps, gave 2x unit of Skyworth GN630V, his PC on TM Speedtest shows 2Gbps and around 910Mbps give or take for the speed

My unifi system can't do PPPoE well and Speedtest stresses the UDM SE so my PC only gets around 1.2-1.3Gbps DL and about about 900Mbps UL on TM Speedtest and Ooklas own about 700-800Mbps DL and about 900Mbps UL

Unifi's own built in Speedtest shows 2.1Gbps DL and 906Mbps UL

user posted image

Cloudflare shows around 1.2Gbps-1.3Gbps DL and 500-700Mbps UL on avg on the Skyworth itself doing PPPoE, using UDM SE PPPoE nets me less than 1Gbps DL most of the time

Inconsistency everywhere but only have my own equipment to blame, Unifi can't do PPPoE well, they like iPoE/DHCP more

Vietnam already launched 10G XGS-PON since May 2024.
Vietnam is introducing 1Gbps plan by VNPT for only VND239k/mth. That's RM42/mth.
UNIFI is still milking its loyal customers as long as possibly can. must complain about this on Minister's facebook when MSAP 2025 OR 2026 is around the corner.

the fact that the cheaper cloud gateways can now get full 2.5 pppoe and your more expensive one cant is mad.

you should ask on the forums when the software will come to yours too
