QUOTE(Azims @ Jun 22 2024, 02:41 AM) ISP especially Unifi should give /56 for home and /48 for business for creating different subnet.currently my 2nd subnet using NAT'ed IPv6 (fd10::/64 ▶️ 2001::e68...) which defeats the IPv6 purpose 🤣 at least allow to request /56 |

Guys,
Need some advise here? What’s the best router for 2gbps plan? TP-link 800 vs TP-link 805 VE TP-Link GE800 (gaming router) in terms of widest coverage and stability? |

Just contacted TP-LINk support, they recommended GE800 gaming router as the hardware spec and coverage wise is slight better than 805https://www.blacktubi.com/review/archer-ge800/ https://www.blacktubi.com/review/tp-link-archer-be805/ But me more like the be805, the design suit for home Imho both are capable router. blacktubi |

I require assistance.
Unifi tech came to my parent's house to swap the old Unifi Huawei router. Thing is that old router connected to a main router (Asus Zenwifi AX). Liked that router cuz of built-in IPS. The new router, DPN-FX3060V is a bit.. hard to setting up with the Zenwifi. Question: If I want disable the DPN-FX3060V and plug in LAN to the Zenwifi and treat the Zenwifi as an AP/main router. What do I need to setup in DPN? |

current unifi router is faulty, with frequent and random restarts. thinking of taking up their offer for changing router in exchange for 2 years contract |

U can try use a laptop cooler or install usb fans to keep the router cool.current unifi router is faulty, with frequent and random restarts. thinking of taking up their offer for changing router in exchange for 2 years contract If still random restart u go to any pc shop and buy your own router since it is cheaper. U just need to keyin your router password( ask tm and they will send u the password in sms ) and done. |

QUOTE(kwss @ Jun 21 2024, 07:42 PM) Let's say none of all the above is true, we still might have a situation where MPLS tunnel is encapsulated inside another MPLS tunnel. This is a common scenario called "carrier of carrier". why not they work if they support ttl propagation and icmp tunneling? |

Yeah. Happens during specific time of the day, so I'm assuming it's Unifi either being cheap again and not buying enough bandwidth or having really crappy partners to route their traffic. Reddit videos are basically stuttering and stuck of the loading wheel. Same with X/Twitter, and often the image or video won't even load. I've complained enough times in the past that I don't bother calling support anymore, because the fools over at Unifi will just spout their scripted lines. In the end, you get a port reset that doesn't fix the problem. All these years, and TM/Unifi is still a trash company. This post has been edited by Isky: Jun 22 2024, 09:57 PM Ah_Huat liked this post

European VPN servers still suffering from slowdowns even on Digi 5G. Using a UK server to watch Euro on BBC iPlayer and the quality is 144p at best. I think it's a routing issue. |

Hi ,
Just installed 300mbs Unifi. The given router+modem (skyworth GN630V) has poor coverage imo. Went to get an Asus AX1800HP and plug it to the Skyworth. Effect seems same. Did I miss something? Do I need to do some settings changes? Thanks in advance |
