Got root & debloat before. No bloatware n ads

If that's the case, you can still save the phone by going into EDL mode. Need to take the back cover off. Use a tweezer to connect the EDL test point, USB cable connected to computer, miflash tool, stock fastboot ROM. There are guides on Youtube on how to go into EDL mode and taking the cover off. I just changed the battery on Redmi Note 10 Pro recently. Might as well change the battery since the cover is off. Can buy NGS battery and T-8000 glue to put the cover back.

Redmi note 9s is solid but yesterday tried to transact using affin and says phone not supported. Dumb affin for changing ways and making life more difficult. If you don't have affin banking, i suggest redmi note 9s

Then no choice if old version not supported. Old version usually a lot of security issues that manufacturers ESPECIALLY XIAOMI too cheap or too lazy to fix security updates. That's why Xiaomi cheap but in reality doesn't mean really cheap. The advertisments also too annoying.

Apple and Samsung expensive yes, but on the flip side they generally hold value much better than redmis. The 4 year old redmi you have now probably not much value? Just throw in drawer when it dies. I always prefer used or older flagship phones over budget lowend new phones. Flagships speakers, screens, cameras will still be better even if older.

eh already check, not really 90hz, its variable refresh rate. you can set to 60 and auto only. if go auto, refresh rate goes up and down, thats why feel stutter

Like I said lo kesian developer need to target so many versions, some so old that huge security holes unplugged. From developer pov still iOS much easier and straightforward.

As developer:

Situation A, you strict: worse case scenario is customer cannot use old phone must buy new phone

Situation B, you not so strict: security hole can cause money loss from bank account or credentials stolen.

Other qualities yes la if you say contrast, gamma, srgb coverage and all that, iPhone confirm better. But FPS alone how also 90hz feel much smoother
