Hello guys, I am going to renovate my old subsale house bathroom that currently using PVC pipes. After lurking around forum, I see most of you guys recommend replace it using polypipe.
But my contractor has no experience in handling polypipes and recommend me to use PVC pipes instead.
I plan to install water pump in the future as well so wondering whether PVC still a good option here?
Thank you very much in advanced.

Please don't use a water pump, it spoils easily and will wreck the piping in the long term
Better just get those shower units with a small built in pump
My home has a pump for the main tank, which I just switch off completely

Now my laundry room & bath room keep water sipping. Gonna redo with external piping. ðŸ˜

You already have read the discussions here as you admit. But you want someone to support your decision to do otherwise. I'm not saying PVC pipe will give you problems in the future, but why not go with the general wisdom that is concluded in the discussions?
Maybe find another contractor who is familiar with something other than PVC?
