I dont know when my my phone start appear ads pop up out of no where even no aps or web is open. Can see the pic in attachment.

Need help to remove it. It's so annoy.ing. Please. Appreciate your help.

At least tell lah what phone you're using.

No one likes ads. I wonder no rule can control that.

My phone usually don't keep thing can hard reset anytime just annoying part need to setup again.

dunno what phone. so better just full reset. if the same, buy new one. for my xiaomi i find the screensaver app and disable it.

you need to tell what phone and if is local distributor set or import set.
if xiaomi local set just follow any new guide on youtube will off all ads.

MIUI only shows ads inside apps. If your phone shows ads even when not in use, then you probably need to check what app starts in background and the permissions given when the phone boots. Different phone UI different methods.

Like MIUI : Settings - Apps - Permissions - Background auto start.

Likely some apps you installed are the culprit.

For TS. You installed a rogue APK before is it? DL Malwarebytes and Bit defender from play store and run scan.

To stop miui ads someone posted above.

To stop ads for all browsing, use private DNS and set to adguard DNS.

Otherwise, just go to apps settings, and disable notifications / data usage etc, especially for the pre-installed apps

Life is too short for trivial sadness.
I've been removing the ads since the first redmi note 3g in 2014 to my current redmi note 10 pro, and will do the same when the redmi note 13 pro global version is released.

maybe TS installed malware... ads are upfront, behind hacker finding and extracting money from banking apps...

TS should learn from you tho.

Some time ago I had gifted a Redmi Note 11 to a friend in graditude for assistance rendered. She is not tech savvy but successfully spent a few minutes following thar website's instructions and disabled all ads with ease. Am sure TS can do the same handily.

Doubt that she did it without people helping…

Just now unker confirm with one of my staff who are using Xiaomi 10T, he also confirmed the ads will pop-up once awhile, sometimes is news ads….

Lucrative income for xiaomi…as they don’t think they are hardware company but they continue to flood the market with a lot hardware…

Go to Fdroid, download, sideload and install DNS66, start it. Have a try..

You're free to doubt, but the proof is in the eating of the pudding. It's not that hard to disable ads. Hopefully that staffer's responsibilities doesn't encompass anything tech-related

I bought my redmi note 12 Aug this year from Shopee (global rom non official store). There are ads only in xiaomi own apps like Optimize - Cleaner and Boost. Camera no ads. File explorer had small ad section. But that went away somehow.

However i did notice additional apps/ ads will come back if you install free games that are ad driven. There is something inside MIUI that auto loads similar ads that certain aps has the same sponsors to.

Its not dodgy la. Just remove all the apps you know you do not need. Some apps are baked into the UI and can;t be removed. But you can stop them from ever starting in the settings. Thats how 3 of my Redmi phones didn't have super annoying ad issues like TS.

One question, the ads popup even when you're on the home screen? If yes, then you've installed some kind of malware already.

My advice, reset and setup your phone again, and careful what you install next time.

Giving the model name is not enough. Is it a Chinese phone- Chinese rom, Chinese specs or Malaysian spec phone with Malaysian warranty?
Xiaomi is notorious for adware and spyware on their Chinese phones. Their overseas models have less ads/spyware but its a hassle because you have to go through all their stock apps and turn off ads, assuming you haven't installed any dodgy apps which is causing the problem.

don't simply install apps.
go to /r/fossdroid and look for alternatives.
