no no for AVG ... i wonder why my campus is using it ....

using avast and kaspersky and both are very gd in detection virus and so on

avast free edition is the best among all.... although it is free , it beat AVG easily ...

tried AVG and Avast . personally like AVG for its low memory usage , but prefer avast over it cause its much better at detecting threats

but now , behind a router , with windows firewall . and everything is hunky dory even without an anti virus program xD

errr, even if you insert your own thumbdrive, there is no guarantee that your thumbdrive is free from virus. Unless you're using your thumbdrive within your 2 computers only or at other computers which got AV installed smile.gif

Avira popup (after updates) is damn annoying though.

How about Safe Run? I saw some where have safe run perform.. How was it?

I heard it can run the Kaspersky program applications in a secure, and if the application is in fact the virus that effect will be lost after the restart.

Does it need virus definition? From my opinion it doesn't.
