What is your position on Wacom competition, has anyone bought a competing product over a Wacom ? Like a Huion or XP-Pen?
After a bit of research such as pctechtest.com/good-cheap-alternatives-to-wacom , it seems that Wacom is still the best .
I've also been eyeing a display from XP-Pen for a long while, and I'm curious if these are any good.
Any feedback would be great.

Simple answer , if you are already establish artist looking for ferarri quality then wacom, if you are learning, tight on budget , just started , testing, experimenting etc ..... xp-pen ........ the price on discount is 6 times less then wacom. identical performance and cheaper maintanance.

My quams with wacom is mainly the price, tested it performance wise not much difference from other tablet, psychologically wise maybe ego get few inch higher but other then that there is nothing wacom can do that other brand can't.

As for Huion, well they where my first option when I found out they are the cheaper alternative, but back then they don't even have a regional headquarters outside of china, trying to buy one back then is harder then getting a wacom, that's when I found out a new competitor xp-pen ....... back then wasn't really well known, but they sell everywhere as cheapest alternatives and I took a dive getting star 06. Been using that since till now. No performance nor maintanance issue, still work as well as when I just bought it. And I've also heard that xp-pen tech and workers are actually from wacom, either quit or retrench join xp-pen.

Financial sense ...... go for xp-pen. This are my personal opinion and recommendation, the risk of you might have bad or different experience is absolutely possible, that include all brand regardless on how well they taut they are.

Wacom is probably the best option but there are some good alternative you may try. Following are some of these alternatives:

Huion
XP-Pen
Gaomon
Veikk
Parblo

Wacom the best, someone suggested me a budget one Huion, though I bought something which is even cheaper than Huion, though less efficient
