I would like to tender my resignation soon as I have a better offer otw. Currently serving with 1 month notice. I wanted to check if my company closes for the year end (22nd onwards) and I tender my resignation today, will i be compensated for the full month or until the 22nd only? Can they choose to cut short my notice period?

I'm just wondering if I need to prep myself to have additional funds if I don't get full salary for the month of January 2024.

I see. But would they actually ask to leave earlier therefore don't need to pay the 23rd onwards?
