something like center hub ring..a ring to keep the center hole of the rim to stay on the hub since 16'' rim have slightly bigger hole thats why it will shake during high speed

actually the aerodynamic of myvi is ok..just that is kinda tall compare to normal hatch and sedan..lowered the car plus a flat underbed for the car will improve things out nevertheless upgrade you brakes first before you done anything to the speed..i found that myvi has skimpy brakes..kinda too small to stops the car effectively and the defects on the brakes is making me sick..
is there anyone who get information lately about the arrival of the so call brake disc assembly that has been missing for 3months.. i've been waiting for them to call forever and i will call them today |

bro cheeann i got a question regarding Myvi alignment balacing to ask..
like myvi original rim,not the steel rim but those standard 1.3 rims, wht do we use as the balacing bit,is it those knock on type or the stick on type..because the original is already an alloy sport rim, shouldn't it be those stick on type but wht see so far is all knock on from perodua sc. another thing, when doing alignment, does it means we do all toe, camber and caster or depends? do we need to readjust the steering too? and wht value normally they will fix on myvi and also proper procedure? |

jorr..i just did my alignment balancing last wednesday after claiming the new brake disc assembly and now i realize that the steering starts to vibrate once reach 110km/h and its quite heavy the vibration
so how the hack would that happen, other than blaming on the balancing job not done well what else could have gone wrong? |

QUOTE(travis_ckf @ Dec 18 2007, 02:24 PM) Bullocks, the myvi 05,06 and 07 is using the same K2-VE engine, but ECU is different as the newer ones has better FC while the earlier batches are prone to heavy FC. not only that, dont confuse with different engine, all the while myvi is using K3-VE like the one in avanza and kembaraWho da hell mentioned myvi has different engine. just that myvi 2007 onward(i can confirm with SE only) are using the Avanza 1.3L Piston and some other parts for the engine not sure is the newer 1.3L Avanza engine parts or the older 1.3L Avanza. for the spark plugs, these are from their webie MODEL /NGK TYPE /G-POWER /IRIDIUM IX /GAP Avanza 1.3 2004~2006 /BKR6EY-11 /BKR6EGP /BKR6EIX-11 /1.1 Avanza 1.3, 1.5 2006~ /DCPR7EA-9 /0.9 Myvi 1.3 2005~ /BKR6EY-11 /BKR6EGP /BKR6EIX /1.1 This post has been edited by [ r u g a ]: Dec 18 2007, 01:45 PM |

different plug code does carry different meaning, like the different u mention there is likely the thread diameter and heat range, since i mention 07> myvi se may uses part from avanza so they like the different piston(piston design, thus slight diff in compression) or even they using the cylinderhead/rocker cover from avanza thus the thread diameter is different..

i guess ur leg din properly release the accelerator during gear change, try to let go completely or it happen during shift down then its normal, when we shift down a gear the rpm would surge up as engine braking.
from my experience the rpm only surge up lil bit during upshift when changing gear are for car that is equip with drive-by-wire throttle system if they do implant that on their ecu to do so.. This post has been edited by [ r u g a ]: Dec 23 2007, 12:44 AM |

QUOTE(paskal @ Dec 26 2007, 07:14 AM) the original alarm is USELESS. wht is the purpose of the opened window if u decided that we unlock the door with key from outside?you don't even need to unlock the alarm. just open the driver's door with your keys without unlocking, the alarm will be unlocked automatically. don't trust me? try this test : 1. wind down your front driver's side window. 2. get out of the car. 3. close all the doors. 4. lock the car with your remote. 5. then through the opened window at the driver side, unlock the door from the outside (without unlocking the alarm). 6. try and open the doors without unlocking the alarm first. 7. see if the siren goes off. try it out with your car and see for yourself. the original alarm won't sound even if you break the window glass. it won't sound if someone breaks the windows, unlocks the doors from the outside, gets into your car, swaps the ECU, and drive off. and actually we dont call myvi system as an alarm system,is it just an immobilizer as u can see the siren(basically no siren) is the horn |
