is it possible that i had to service the car only without replacing new engine oil. Since i ain't got no bucks till next week. free service is the only answer. Anyway is there any P2 service centre around wangsa maju area??

since ur engine is still new, recommended to change when 1000km & 5000km service on time.
bcos the metal surface inside the engine may not smooth and a lot of tiny metal material "tear" out and mixed together into engine oil. imagine the engine oil contain metal material friction inside ur engine... sweat.gif

for sure the p2 service center is  doh.gif , installed front ARB on myvi also dont know. seem that SC not too reliable since they not trained their staff before service our car... doh.gif  doh.gif  doh.gif

my old satria uses fully synthetic oil changed for every 3 months. i want to implement the same for my vito too... i just asking

i went to Perodua Service Centre at Keramat area near Texas Instrument just now. biggrin.gif I ask for service they say leave your car here and take it tomorrow evening. icon_question.gif then i ask 2nd question "if i sent my car here, how much it would cost? here's my 1k milage free service reciept"
This woman replied. hmm.gif RM30 service labour charge is free, but u need to change engine oil and filter which comes to RM150. blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif

I was shocked with the figure she mentioned and asked again another q
"What is your engine oil anyway? Fully synthetic?"
She was space out a bit and then answered
"Umm. semi-synthetic, petronas" shakehead.gif shakehead.gif shocking.gif

What the heck??? semi engine oil that expensive??? u got to be kidding me... i left the service centre right away. vmad.gif


i went back to my old satria mechanic and ask the same question. oh it's just RM58 for engine oil and RM20 for genuine oil filter..

wow that P2 service centre sure suck ur blood a lot

yup....usually i would waste only RM25 for 3 days travelling from Putrajaya to Wangsa Maju. that would be 6 trips

now its hardly 3 trips per RM25 petrol...

i want to sent my car back to the P2 service by today

i went to p2 SC at Jln Genting klang just now. great centre. recommend to all myvi users. friendly and whatever i asked them....

i'll try on new ecu setting 2morow. see what comes next
