I find it hard to defend her position. As a young Malaysian, surely, possessing at the very least a rudimentary understanding your national language isn’t too much to ask?

I can understand and forgive those born prior to Merdeka or grew up in villages or kampungs, but for someone her age and generation….. indefensible imho.

If you're young and are Malaysian just fukken learn the language la. it's arguably one of the easiest languages to learn, wayyy easier than English and especially Chinese. smh. These sei sohais wanna live here but die die can't even do the bare minimum. It's fine we don't take up the Arab religion and culture they're adopting but ffs at least speak the Malay language la. Conlanfirm sampah like that live in segregated communities don't even mix with other races. My grandparents who came here also learn to speak la.
