Something i don't understand...why do I see so many Bangladeshis and Nepalise workers being conversant in Malay when a so-called Malaysian isn't? Is BM that difficult to learn or these Malaysians have lower intelligence than those foreign workers?

QUOTE(Jv8888 @ Nov 30 2023, 02:00 PM) i mentioned before, not all bangladesh and Nepalese can speak malay...only few of them. My factory have over 200 foreign workers, not all can converse in Malay, only those supervisors ranked. Some even worked more than 10 years still doesnt understand Malay, some after 3 years, can understand. Also, i agreed that every Malaysian must know how to speak basic Malay...but like some of them already migrate out to oversea to study since small, but still holding Malaysian IC...how are you gonna blame them? I know someone in his late 40s who cannot converse in Malay, been staying here all his life. As long as BM is required, he'll need a translator. In Penang, I have seen others struggling to even buy nasi campur if the Malay sellers can't understand English.
