Well, I haven't sent the phone for repairs yet. It's a combination of both, in my opinion. First of all, I think it's the fragile material used on the D-pad and when you couple that with long term usage, you get a cracked D-pad. Erm, I don't think that hairline crack will make any difference on the performance issue. It's just that it's ugly.

the most serious among here i think... is it warranty void if AP set chg the D-pad even at SE Service Centre ?
