Sorry bro, i hate to break it to you that your endoscopy was done by a surgeon, not a gastroenterologist therefore the treatment may be suboptimum.

When having stamatch issue with ulcer, it need time for the stomach lining to heal. minimum 2 weeks for pain to subside. assume CLO test is negative.

but the indigestion and bloatedness or other GI symptoms need time to resolve. from a month to half year

lifestyle modification is important, change your meal to smaller portion don't eat too full, meal time on time and avoid oily, spicy, citrus and caffeine food. until your symptoms subside.

If you overweight, then is a good time to made a change. some light exercise included to help.

Try to log/write down what food will trigger the stomach issue, and avoid having these food during these time.

If you still having issue after a month, i think you can take your exam report to see a GI specialist for further investigation.

hey there, hope you are on your journey of recovering with the right medication, do share some updates and perhaps that will help for those who experience the same, thanks!

After 2-3 month finally i get control already , living with hiatus hernia , u have to taking this care

1. Don't over eating , 70% full is the best way , and try to avoid mix with water when eating , which mean before meal and after meal 30min-60min only drink water
2. Don't lying down after eat , it's best to keep at least 3-4 hour after eat before lying down
3. Try to get Wedge Pillow , i think the most helpful tool that help me can sleep well at night , with wedge pillow , ur food in stomach won't reflux back and stay low in stomach
4. Try avoid spicy , oily , acid food , after 2-3 month only slowly try back those spicy food , let ur stomach adapt back those food , now i can eat whatever i want , but dont over eating , try a little potion , sharing with friend then it's okey

Hope that help smile.gif
