So even after the merger, celcom still doesn't have credit validity extension yet? Digi got rm38 bos for 365days validity, plus the rm1/day validity extension that can even be used in grace period. Celcom always need to reload? And no rm38/365days yet? Last time I've used celcom is like 7-8 years ago where they still offered rm50/2years validity. Trying to get back into celcom to see how their coverage is after the merger but the lack of validity extension seems expensive for just idling number.

Hi everyone. What are some ways that I can utilize my remaining Digi prepaid credits?

Appstore and playstore can use prepaid credit. Can even subscribe to icloud. I think most that use iphone guaranteed to sub rm4.99 for icloud 50gb since the free 5gb aren't even enough for whatsapp backup.

Dropped by celcomdigi shop today and was told no super long life or any longer than 30 day plans anymore.... quite impossible to use celcomdigi sim as a backup line then?
*
For celcom, yes theres no super long validity anymore since like 10 years ago.

Digi still have rm108 validity for a year, or if you're lucky rm38 from box of surprise that appear randomly. They also allow buying rm1 validity extension even when credit expire. Depends on your plan grace period, can create calendar reminder to do that rm1 few days before line termination. I still have an old digi next plan with 90 days grace period, been using the rm1 validity every 87 days for a few years already.

But my question was about backup line. Meaning constantly valid, can be switched to on my dual-sim phone when primary line got bad network.

You go to digi in that situation, with either rm108 or rm38 1 year validity. Or if still want to ride on celcom network, go with tunetalk. Rm35 for 1 year validity. Celcom aren't insterested in being a backup line since they haven't offered 1 year validity since 2015.

The new plan is a scam to raise their kpi lmao. Instead of paying 12x of 30 days plan you now got to pay for 13x of 28 days plan. Lowkey scam expecting people wouldn't notice. "Just 2 days".

ic. ok. becos in the app also never show when is the end of grace period, so very hard to track...

i wonder if there is any warning message sent by digi when it is towards the end of grace period or anything?

Don't you have a phone? I thought literally everyone nowadays got a smartphone, and by default it got calendar. Both android and ios default caledar can set a recurring calendar every xx days. So just set a recurring calendar reminder few days before termination. For 60 day grace, set 57 days recurring reminder. For 90 days grace, set 87 days recurring reminder.

Does celcom have that rm1 extend validity that could be bought even when credit expired like digi? Been using that on 1 idle digi sim, thinking to try celcom if they also got that rm1 thing.

Anyone successfully did this with celcom prepaid or digi prepaid? Mine old digi next failed, error not eligible. No further details provided like need in active period, not enough credit, plan too old or whatever. Shitty system just throwing generic error.
