Hi, any idea on why CelcomDigi Integrated network in the MRT Putrajaya Line tunnel section have poor RSRP and SINR? -7dbm for SINR and BLER reached 50%, speed is ranging from 1-2Mbps (SINR < 5dbm) to 300/400Mbps (if SINR > 20dbm). Been contacting Digi so many time since this issue happened but they keep give me robot reply.

QUOTE(jasontanky @ Apr 3 2024, 10:26 AM) First condition might be due to handover failure, the phone is connecting to a future cell. A flight mode or restart on phone might solve the problem? Tried flight mode n times and restart , still poor SINR for this section (Sentul Barat - Hospital Kuala Lumpur)Since it is extremely unlikely for an MRT DAS to have such poor RSRP. Might just be handover failure After entering Raja Uda the SINR immediately increased to > 10dbm This issue persist since the launching of MRT Putrajaya Line Phase 2 Unsure whether they aware of this issue or not (https://twitter.com/MRTMalaysia/status/1678209075270516737) This post has been edited by Sam Leong: Apr 3 2024, 10:38 AM |

QUOTE(prosibu @ Apr 6 2024, 01:43 AM) Have u try to make volte call for the issue place? Haven't try yet. Will try to do call test but iinm the I experienced quite many times drop call in this section before. Will do test and report to Digi. Thanks!Normay they will take more attention to drop call instead of speed and browsing issue. Can try call 0162993151 for digi or 019201 11 11 for celcom number for testing... prosibu liked this post

QUOTE(azrash @ Oct 30 2024, 08:26 PM) - 4g speed can reach more than 200 Mbps. ( Have also been told that the Pixel 7 modem is not too good, so perhaps Qualcomm modem would be even better) Pixel 7 Pro 3CA 561Mbps CelcomDigi Merged Area- 4g upload speed is higher than 5G Non related but would recommend you to root your Pixel 7 Pro so you can see these details (including SIB1 which you can see whether it's a CelcomDigi merged tower or not as if merged there are two PLMN which are 502 19 and 502 16) and unlimited Google Photos backup ![]() |

QUOTE(azrash @ Oct 31 2024, 04:43 PM) Maxis customer service is miles better though. Prior to CelcomDigi merge , Digi customer service is the best Customer Service in 4 big telcos from my personal experience. But since the merging the quality dropped alot 🤡 |

QUOTE(pakmulau @ Nov 13 2024, 11:10 AM) Hi anyone can confirm how much hotspot data available for family plus plan? Is it got limit or unlimited? U mean the RM50 one?Previously it was unlimited + 20GB hotspot, now CDG change to all unlimited. Previously there was clear FUP stated that this plan have a 300GB FUP , once reached throttled to 10Mbps. (I got throttled before, 10Mbps is still acceptable) Now their TnC didn't mention specifically but I think still 300GB, some more after finish 300GB got 10Mbps unlimited speed ![]() |

QUOTE(jasontanky @ Nov 13 2024, 11:11 PM) However it is still area dependent, the 4G speed inside KLCC and LRT Kelana Jaya line for Maxis is still better than Celcom. This is because Maxis is the only one telco (?) deployed 2CA inside the KJL , Celcom only deploy 1 band (iinm is Band 1 SISO)But for the MRT Kajang and Putrajaya line Celcom and Digi already MOCN , but for PYL the line is quite not stable |

QUOTE(prosibu @ Nov 14 2024, 07:52 PM) Can try the integrated in building coverage at sunway pyramid... It seems is 2I2O ibc d with all telco shared the antenna. Hmm , but at the Oasis part Digi 4G is not quite stable especially upload , not sure whyAlthough still using copper, i can get 100mbps 4g during crowded time which is good for me... ![]() ![]() |

QUOTE(jasontanky @ Nov 14 2024, 07:38 PM) I actually got 3CA on Maxis B7-3-1 on KJL (they use pRRU, so each equipment is actually an individual cell, much larger capacity), Celcom is actually on a B8-1 2CA, SISO DAS, nevertheless, the speed still impressive, over 100Mbps during off peak. Digi is still SISO Band 1 only (yes, not even 3 7 8) but according to Digi they shd have upgraded it to 2T2R according to their TSSR reportWait to see what CelcomDigi integration will bring to commuters there Wonder will they use pRRU like Maxis for integration ![]() Attached File(s)
