I'm really frustrated with Digi's handling of my fibre application.

In early May, I ported my mobile number (MNP) from Maxis to Digi. On the same day, at the Digi store in Sunway Pyramid, I told the staff that I also wanted to apply for Digi Fibre with the 6-month free offer. The staff processed both the MNP and fibre application.

A few days later, I found out that my MNP request had failed, but the fibre application had already gone through and an account was created. By the end of May, I discovered that the fibre account was not linked to any Digi postpaid number—just a standalone fibre account—so it wasn’t eligible for the 6-month free promo. At that point, I still hadn’t successfully ported to Digi, and the fibre hadn’t even been installed yet, so I decided to cancel the application.

I called Digi three times and sent multiple WhatsApp messages just to request the cancellation. It took a lot of follow-ups, but eventually they processed it.

After my MNP was finally successful, I reapplied for Digi Fibre—this time properly linked to my new Digi number—so I could get the 6-month free promotion as originally intended.

But now, I’ve noticed that the cancelled fibre account was still charged RM10.60. I contacted Digi to raise my concern, as I believe the error came from their side during the application process. However, every response I got from them was the same—they refused to reverse the charge. Even after I said I would escalate the issue to MCMC, their response didn’t change. It feels like they’re insisting on keeping the charge no matter what.

Do you think I have a strong case if I report this to MCMC? Yes, RM10.60 may not be a big amount, but I can’t accept being charged a processing fee for a mismatched application that wasn’t my fault.

Celcom reload rm30 free rm3 credit is a scam.

My line was inactive for a week. Saw this promo rm30 free rm3 credit so I decided to reload rm30. After reload successfully, the line is active and celcom auto renew my monthly mobile plan with the legacy RM25 15GB ( I wanted to get the NX 25 plan. But **** it, I was unable to disable auto renew because the legacy plan was expired).

Check my credit, I never receive my rm3 credit and the rm3 free credit was not used on the auto renew as well.

Looking through the celcom app and I found that the rm3 credit is for phone calls and will expired in 3 days. But seriously, who is going to buy another mobile plan in 3 days after subscribing a plan, and how am I going to use up the rm3 credit in 3 days if my plan has unlimited call? Well done celcom.
