Anyway my pilot rfid already rosak more than a year, dont even want to purchase a new one since it can only last a few years

If you're not a pilot user aka people who volunteered to use RFID before the nationwide implementation then this promo is not for you

i'll stick with my regular TnG or Smart Tag for now tq.
at least until MLFF is implemented, & proven reliable/consistent later in the future

as I know it, you can not register a new RFID tag to a car unless you terminate the existing one

why suddenly saying when buy new now, the old one will auto deregister

I notice our old tag detection at the toll gantry seem slower compare to other cars with newer tags.

haha in a way I do agree with you, "if it's not broke, why fix it". They should reward pilot tester a new replacement tag, not only cashback!

i think the excuse "wear n tear" for pilot tags maybe 10% true (low quality film/antenna initially used for testing)

newer tags could be....

1) improved material to last longer with malaysia climate?
2) improved antenna to capture rfid signal from transceiver?
3) improved security ? pilot tags are being fraud/cloned easily?
4) changed vendor?

since they are targeting specifically to Pilot Tags, there must be some underlying reasons for them to expedite replacement.... heck, they should give free to ALL instead of cherry-picking 100k users only (unless pilot users are <100k anyway)

I also haven't received any notification and my tag was fixed within the first week of the pilot launching. But so far no issue at all with the tag so not gonna change.

What I understand is this new rfid will void the previous pilot rfid tag if the person has one whether activated or not which will expire in early 2024

i am a RFID pilot tester but i didnt get this offer. maybe because my RFID tag already terminated since the carwash guy damaged it a few months ago.

i think the idea is to get those pilot users to replace their tags.
for those pilots who bought, irrespective whether they have pasted and activated the new replacement tag or did not, the prior pilot tag from years ago will be disabled.

Just change it to active RFID lah.... the stupid sticker dont work half the time...

only expire if you recently bought the promo offer

Ppl thought that all those who r on pilot program their rfid is gonna expire soon, but today TnG clarify its not the case.

So wat now? Ayam rfid pilot user. Mean if ayam participate gonna get the rfid tag foc?

you are too easily misled then... we always check and verify news ..and not jump to conclusion
