I only bought stuff from Lelong, Qoo10, Shopee & Lazada. But have never bought from Ali Express. Is it the same as buying from shopee or Lazada? I searched /K most complaints about shipping duration.

I want to buy a solar light that used to be sold by a local seller. I got one previously and now want another. But the seller no longer active and is closed. I found the items are sold in Ali Express. Reason to get it now is because of black friday discounts.

i buy before audio stuff from one of the official store, shipping free got tracking takes 2 to 3 weeks

I heard the delivery time has improved a lot. like no diff buying from Lazada and deliver from China.

I probably have to factor in black friday is probably going to swamp shipping delivery times also. Sigh....

Delivery is fast nowdays about 1.5week and can do tracking. Just bought LTE modem RM250 last week.

Make sure you address is correct when they are sending.

brought couple of spare part joystick.....they wrap in normal plastic and place into the thin layer of bubble bag....all my joystick came back drift.....

Before Lazada and Shopee, AliExpress was the wae. 1-3 months delivery time was considered normal.

Then Shopee and Lazada came and I jumped ship. But rare items still ada there instead of Shopee/Lazada.

Tried before on AliExpress, last purchased is some usb cable. Take about 3weeks+ without tracking. Then got one time purchased a cartoon of glass bottle for packing purpose, take about 1month and a week I think. Consider ok la, because some supplier can custom thing for you if you ask.

Pre covid I bought a few stuff. Delivery time was long, like 1 month to 1.5 month latest, but all item arrive. During covid 2020 my item arrive 6 months late! Not to mentioned, some item didn't arrive at all.

Fortunately requesting refund from ali express is easy and ni hassle.

Anyway I stop ordering from aliexpress considering the usd exchange rate which makes it either more expensive than shopee or same price with shopee, might as well order from shopee, even though from china, around 2 weeks can receive.

Hit and miss I think. 11.11 I purchased several items from Ali, a few took only 1 week+ to arrive my doorstep, still got 1 pending stuck at pass to airline for a week already. Also unfortunately its the most expensive one..

u are buying directly from china la....surely the shipping will be long...unless u pay extra to get fast shipping...but overall got some items there cheaper than here...depends on u la...if u in a hurry just buy in country...if not in hurry and cheaper then can proceed buy aliexpress
