Hz still counts, input lag still counts, pixels generating per loading times still count.

streaming still indeed fact capped at 60fps, as even OBS capped at 60fps. No streaming services has reach beyond 60fps.

The Geforce Now (GFN) service now supports 4K HDR and 120 fps refresh rate for streaming, but only for users who have a GFN Ultimate membership. These members can access either RTX 3080 or RTX 4080 blade servers that support these features. However, they must meet certain system requirements to enjoy them on PC, Mac, Android, Shield, Android TV, web browsers, and certain smart TV models. This membership is available exclusively on the official GFN service.

Nvidia creates a program called GFN Alliance Partners, which follows a franchise model. At most, GFN Alliance Partners can offer up to RTX 2080 blade servers, along with older spec GTX 1060 blade servers.

However, some GFN Alliance partners have better servers:
1. GFN Cloud.GG Australia (RTX 3080 servers)
2. GFN Taiwan Mobile (RTX 3080 servers)
3. GFN.AM Armenia (RTX 4080 servers)
4. GFN Rain South Africa (RTX 3080 servers)

There is one problem I just discovered in Reddit 😅. Apparently Activision just banned a user's account for using GFN because GFN runs on a VM, and it's a no no for multiplayer.

The great news for GFN subscribers this week is that they can now enjoy playing Call of Duty HQ! While it was available during the GFN beta in 2019, game publishers later decided to remove it when GFN started charging users for the streaming rental service. However, AAA game publishers like Activision after the historic Microsoft deal are slowly returning to the GFN service on an opt-in basis.

In addition, NVIDIA customer support has released an FAQ for Activision games, which provides helpful information and answers to common questions. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/det...ow%20activision

Anti-cheat systems such as BattleEye and Ricochet often encounter issues with cloud gaming services that utilize virtual machines. However, the more lenient anti-cheat system, Easy Anti-Cheat by Epic Games, works well with cloud services. Some publishers are attempting to collaborate with GFN to "whitelist" the GFN service, but there are still cases where players are unjustly banned.

GFN YES 5G Malaysia and GFN Starhub Singapore are limited to offering RTX 2080 as their maximum graphics option. As a result, the streaming rate is locked at 60 fps, even though the gameplay rate can exceed 60 fps. To experience 120 fps on both gameplay and streaming rates, you will need to have the GFN Ultimate membership. Unfortunately, this is not available on YES and Starhub. I received a response stating that Starhub was in discussions with NVIDIA to provide improved RTX 3080 servers, but there has been no further update since then.
