Recently, I had casual chat with a mother during my child Taekwondo class.

After a few encounters over few months, she started asking me for my number.

Should I give her my number?

Did I send her the wrong signal?

It's best to keep her at distance. Prioritize your family and their feelings. To actually post here asking for advice shows you already know it's not a good thing to do. Whatever the reason she wants your number, the outcome is she will contact you when you are at home / work. What if she suddenly contact you for changing bulbs? Car issues? Family matters? Her kid needs transport to class? Are you ready to commit? If you sense there is something fishy, you are probably right.

I did not knew phone numbers are secret nowadays. I also dont think there is anything wrong with her requesting for your number.

If she doesnt like you enough or serious to meet up, she will ask you to follow her IG

Hopefully she doesn't pass the number to ah long, scammers or other guys flirting with her

its only asking for your number and both of you have kids at the centre

don't over think it.

If you don't mind suddenly you get viral on social media then go ahead, else just reject politely and tell her you're a dad and a husband now.
