Ever since I qualified for private banking a few years ago, I no longer struggle with hotlines, poor bank service at the counters or RMs trying to shove products I don’t want down my throat anymore.
I only keep the telephone numbers of my 3 bankers handy. From Forex deals to bond purchases or even the free limo bookings to airports and back, or red packets delivered to my house with new bank notes during CNY… no queues, no waiting time, no worries.
In order of personal preference, Maybank Private Singapore is the best, as I’ve been with them the longest and I’m most comfy with my private banker (who also happens to be Malaysian), followed by DBS Private and finally UOB Private.

QUOTE(dwRK @ Nov 19 2023, 12:54 PM) we have a good RM... very hardworking girl... when she jumped to a different bank... we also partly followed open account there... just need to send her a whatsup, she gets things done... The way I see it, banks will be banks - and they’ll offer similar products based on your investment risk appetite, net worth with them (AUM) and so forth… the one thing that makes a difference is the RM.

Standard chartered lousiest bank. Their jumpstart account is a joke. Debit card decline when online shopping. Complain already no improvement. Some more their hot line is only used for reporting fraud, lost card. I don't care. Just abuse it.
Going to try other website if all useless, then close account.

They just want you to be their priority customers and suck you to buy their products like UT and Insurance.
