WTS has anyone changing career direction from being a Sales & Marketing personnel of Industrial Automation to become a product management in a SAP Consultancy company?

Mind to share if you have any similar experience? about the challenge of the new role, the market prediction on SAP and etc.

My motive for changing is getting bored on doing same thing for >10years, thinking to switch direction and learn something new.
