QUOTE(lonely66 @ Nov 17 2023, 10:27 AM) Don't do that man... Its like putting Mayo on Wagyu or Kobe.If you say Ginger Jiken, its goes terribly. Bestest to go with Jiken is to try the drunken shredded jiken, with Mei-Kwei-Lu aka Rose-Dew Wine (https://www.matthewsfoodsonline.co.uk/products/mei-kuei-lu-chiew) This goes well with steamed/cooked/shredded drunken style jiken dishes. Especially Kaki ayam lel. Taste heavenly lel. This post has been edited by AfraidIGotBan: Nov 17 2023, 08:56 PM |

Bruh, they're used to the so-called "Hard Liquor" lah, deswai its hard to get used to the flavor.when i was at huangshan, i bought a 高粱, (kaoliang), it smell and taste like karosene i guess, i stop after one sip. i still have a bottle of moutai, but not in any mood to try it But again, Maotai is much ok compared to the Kaoliang. You haben tasted their Wuliangye yet, maybe next time got chance go give it a try lel. Tao Hua Lu is also gooding, but gotta see where they do it if its taste sourish or sweet-ish. TBH, the Nv Er Hong also machiam shit nowadays but heard back then Nv Er Hong is fragrant, and nice. Maybe all of these now sudah di-lapsap-kan because too much chemical, shortcut added into the production. If all above that I shared cannot accept, might as well bantai some Zhang Xiao Bai. They tasted wokey as an alternate to Soju. |

It’s not the most popular one lah, just that it’s among the most expensive and prestige, that’s why most ppl at least heard of it before. It’s T1 drinks.

Yes. Poem Literature still is what made me try try tasted these white rice liquor too. But again, we gotta notice one very obvious differences here, where Chinese Wine is very different from the western's distilled liquor. Chinese Wine is made from a base, which is the wine yeast/cake/whatever. There's more to be told, but I belip nobody like TLDR stuff so I'll avoid it. But one thing for sure, bero dun hantam shaoxing wine, its for cooking, not drinking. Imagine you're drinking Mirin, your Jepunis feverite GF beloved cooking wine, or Makgeolli, your Korean Cheong Partner cooking wine to drink... They went crazy weird into your taste. And yes, Chinese Spirit nowadays is mahalz |
