I just sent my samsung note 10 lite in for repairs. The power button does not work. Before it kong, the volume buttons were also triggered randomly without pressing them, but somehow they have resolved, it just the power button. Everything else works. I even have a workaround using gestures to lock the phone without using the power button.

Samsung quoted me 600 to change the motherboard. Is it worth it to change? The phone is 3 years old. I still like the phone, but I don't know if it worth spending so much on repairing it. This was my first s-pen experince, and have since got samsung tablet with an s-pen and dont really use it on the phone that much.It was more of an impulse buy since I always was keen on a note since it came out.

FYI, I can use it without any issue, is just that the phone does use a bit more power and if it dies on me when I am out, I would need to find a PC to on in back (the workaround to turning it on without the power button is to connect the USB to a PC and press both volume buttons).

So, should I replace it for the price of a new phone? Thanks in advance

I suppose you are right. My dads old phone dumb phone was sent there a long time ago, and they did the same thing, asking to switch the motherboard.

I am not going to service there now, probably going to send it somewhere else. But was just wondering if it is worth to repair. Heart say repair la but head say no, baik beli phone baru.
