Any recommended brand of refrigerator? Nowadays, there are so many brand to choose from e.g. LG, Samsung, Panasonic, Toshiba, Hisense, Midea, Sharp, Elba. Please recommend the one with durable and long lasting and also affordable...Any brand to avoid?

For me prefer Japan brand like Panasonic, Hitachi, Sharp and avoid Korean brand. Yes Korean brand a lot of fancy stuff but less reliable.

Any model oso can just ensure can fit your space and have temper glass shelf instead of plastic.

if you can. get twin blower fridge
more efficient.

how to check if it is twin or single blower?
open the main door. Slam it close, and see if the freezer door pop open a bit or not.
if you see the other door pop open slightly, that's single blower.

Have 2 Hitachi fridges at home, bought at the same time at around 2017 and one of them with chill water dispenser at the front. The one with water dispenser already started making rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... sound i guess its due to motor. Tgh pikir, nak kena tukar fridge ke? Oh yeah, the lights for the fridges are LEDs and both of the fridges lights blew up already. I Lazada it from Thailand and change it myself for about RM 2xx each

Used for more than ten years, cannot even recall the year of purchase. Freezer is very cold, fish and prawns can last for weeks in it without noticeable deterioration (As determined by the taste when cooked). Only maintenance is to change the door seals and one maintenance call to clear blocked defrosting outlet.

when open the light sometime no on, need to pull the switch a bit
