Yonex IOI City Mall for branded.

If want staff with good recommendations then go Sam Trading Co at Metro Point Kajang. Apa brand from budget to helang price pun ada.

ASICS GEL-RESOLUTION 9 MEN TENNIS SHOES WHITE

You are really a newbie.
You don't use a tennis shoes for badminton/squash .

This shoes is specifically designed for tennis game movement and grip.

You need a indoor court shoes.

With your budget you can look at asics court control ff3.
If not gel-court hunter 3 is another option.
But if you want good and slightly more economical, you can consider gel rocket 11, some pro squash players wear this.

On buying racket, you can check out Racquet World in Pertama Complex.

Newbie into sports are like

Wear running shoes or futsal shoes or basketball shoes play squash I've seen a lot with newbies.

If they are really serious into the sports, then must invest into sports specific shoes.

Please advice where to get this mizuno shoes

I've been a ASICS rocket gel user for the past 13 years.
I had 6 pairs of rocket gel before this. Current pair is Rocket Gel 10.
Would like to have a second pair of squash shoes since I'm playing like 2 to 3 times per week now. Want to feel how good is mizuno

Partly because my fav badminton player is wearing this brand. Okugara san. Hgggghn.

Racquets i rekomen just buy any even balance 4u racquet, from there you can get familiar with shot varieties and find your own spot to go either head heavy, light or stay on even balance racquet.

Also i suggest to join any social badminton games, can find in fb or rovo app. Expand your badminton buddy circle yo.

yes this.

those who just want to play leisurely will not learn basics first
seen many of such people in squash court.
The moment they masuk into the court, just wack the ball and ball flying everywhere. no control.

it's just like you want to learn driving. never learn the basic and essentials first.
Don't know how to walk, but want to run.

must learn basics first
- how to hold the racket grip, learn the angle.
- learn the forehand and backhand swing/arm movement
- learn body positions.
- learn footwork
- then learn forehand strokes, then backhand strokes
etc etc

For shoe just buy yonex 65z3 RM400+ very good enough lor.

For newbie better buy cheaper racket lar. Apacs, felet, chepaer version yonex or victor. Bang racket with partner common among beginner player. U buy expensive racket then accidently bang with partner racket u crybaby. Unless u play single.

But since u afford racket for budget RM1000, just buy Thruster Ryuga 2, u will automatic play like LZJ. Lulz!

I just ditch Brooks Ghost as the shoe the bad is if the tiles is wet I can anytime do guile summersault kick (exaggerated but it has no grip on wet surface)

Expensive racket better material and good technology in it.

Well if u already a pro player, using cheapo RM80 racket also still can win.

U give Datuk LCW use RM30 Mr.DIY racket vs ktard with RM1000 racket, sure kelong also kena hantam Datuk LCW.

Exactly, there's a lot to learn about a sport other than hitting back and forth. gonna know the basics, not just hit for the sake of hitting the bird / ball
Buy good equipment doesn't equal to good player. Anybody with skills / training can easily tapau a noob with cheap equipment.

Asics gel rocket 10 also good enough la. Rm 250. Yeah newbie use cheap racket better. If you play doubles, always clash rackets with your partner. Some high end rackets can break quite easily though. Start low, maybe rm 100+ to 200+ can settle la. Bruh I'm using 2nd hand li ning bought from the badminton shop where I usually play at. RM 80. For a year plus dy still going strong even winning players with RM 500++ rackets... expensive rackets don't mean shit when you can't play.

The technology used to produce the racket, the material and all..
Manufacturers claimed it would produce higher smash speeds, better control etc etc.. but to us regular club / social players.. it wouldn't make a difference la.

if you are a regular player and a good technical player. you can tell the difference.

if not, to you a racket is just a racket.

Good racket feel more "lively" probably due to material used.
Cheap racket feel more "dull".
You can actually feel the good racket like integrate with you 人劍合一.

I used RM100++ racquet (10% pre-stretched, 28lbs) also dapat 2nd place in Double's. laugh.gif

In a serious note, if you are an experienced player, you'll definitely feel the difference.

There are a few differences:
1. The tension of the string that the racket can hold is lower in a cheaper racket of the same brand. Some brands are cheaper and can still hold higher tension.
2. The stability of the racket when you swing it or hitting a shuttlecock will be different.
3. Depends on the racket series(head light, balance or heavy), some higher end rackets are harder for beginner to use.

not really
expensive rackets, and professional use rackets have 3U.
expensive is more to material, R&D, tests, prototypes, design, engineering, etc.

this channel is nice.
he interviews and find out what professional players use, string tension, string type, set up type, etc.

*
For beginner yes asics gel rocket 10 or 11 good as starter. But since TS afford and list expensive shoe and high bajet, so just rekemen him high end lulz!
But ya different people different choice, some newbie who afford they straight away get high end shoe and racket. For some they get cheaper shoe and racket. Nextime after gain good skill and play better then can buy better racket and shoe.

Most important in badminton is correct technique. If u can win by just play setting the shuttle for opponent and less smash, cheapo racket can already. If u a good powerful smasher, good racket give better power.
If me i depend on opponent. If opponent i can makan without power play, i use my old RM80 carbonex racket also can. But if meet powerful player and need do lot of powerful smash then i use good racket.
But now i dont really go for high end racket liao. I only use bajet racket yonex Astrox 9. Bought during promotion few years back RM150. My badminton group mostly use high end also i can win them most of time.
Many people thought using expensive racket they immediately can play as good as Lindan. Lulz!

Just budget your shoes to RM200 and racket RM120 is decent enough for newbie. You won't be able to pick drop shots if you do not master your steps in godlike shoes or smash faster than LZJ with a godlike racket.

Investing so much for a sport that may break your back and cause cardiac arrest is a bad idea.

training with just the racket.
learn how to hold and grip the racket.
learn about body positioning when hitting a forehand and backhand
learn how position the racket before swinging a forehand / backhand

Tats right. Not as easy as they thought. Even swing also have right technique. Anyone can hit shuttle just that not in right technique and stance.
Basic badminton stance also need to learn 1st before start hitting shuttle.

since TS nub, definitely spend more on shoes first

since its important gear, and besides after awhile you will just keep changing racket anyway until the suitable one fixed on hand

next would be on training kot. or if you get the gist after some time, practice but watch youtube on the proper technique and try applying

wear tennis shoes for jogging?

if you are those type that jog for 5 to 10 minutes only
OK lah

you really sound like you are new in sports.
badminton/volley/squash/court shoes do come in coloured sole, which are non-marking also.

this one is the nicest looking Rocket Gel 10 colour.

do you know the reason why court shoes comes in natural orange colour sole?
to keep it as pure rubber as possible, get more grip on the courts.

functionality over looks my friend. As long as the shoes are nice to wear, fit your feet, have good support, cushioning and grip, why bother whether is ugly or not?
If the shoes within your budget have 3 colour schemes, pick the best one out of the 3. If all also ugly, no choice pick the least ugly. People go to court to play sport, not see your shoes nice or not.
