as a non MU fan, I never understood why most of MU fans thought that replacing DDG was a priority. Yes, he isn't a good distributor but his shot-stopping skills are maybe in the top 3 in EPL (except when he blunders of course). Yes he needs to be replaced eventually but among the maybe 10 problems MU have on the field, DDG was maybe the number 7 or 8, so it certainly wasn't a priority.. that is, if number 1-6 is still not yet fixed (as we can see now), then replacing DDG shouldn't even happen

Loans are a short term fix. You bring players into the system, then lose them once the season is over and gotta train new players all over again. United been relying on loans to fill out the squad for a few seasons now. Functioning like a mid table team on a budget.
