Hello. This is my first time setting up analog cctv. (only did ip cam before)
Say, I want to cheap out on cabling and use RG59 cca/ccs instead of full copper for my cctv. How long the distance I can get away with this before the signal going bad?
People tend to jump on answer expensive=better no matter what, but most of those discussions are centered on warehouse context with 300+ meter runs. I'm just doing this for a 2 storey house.

Short term no issues. After few years no idea.

CCA RG59 100m no issue. CCA also got many quality.. Good 1 can last longer for sure. Just make sure ur DC power 2-core use good Full Copper wire.
