is it seller onlys pay or both seller and buyer pay?

and what is the ratio?

generally is 3% paid by seller.
however it can be up for negotiation.

generally buyer pay 10% depo, then from that 10% around 3.18% go to property agent

that 3% usually go to property company, how much the specific agent get is determine between the agent and his company

mine was 1% lowest. normally the higher value the property the more room for negotiation on the commission.

unless negotiated that buyer to pay a part, i doubt so. but ive only experienced KV transactions.

normally they charge 2% and above. i have not encountered any agent that charge 1% only. likely they give 'discount' personally just to win the deal?

icic. 3.18% is a lot to pay just to sell a house. sad.gif

it was a take it or leave it offer to the agents. because was selling at loss.

Icic. Then indeed to them better than nothing. Earning lesser at the meanwhile with sale figure also better than none.

Besides, all these agents the agency company will chop 50-% from agent before they give the remaining to agents themselves?

We call that earnest deposit. The purchaser will pay 10% deposit to the Vendor. From that amount, a certain % will be paid to the agent first. Usually is 3%. So the Vendor will get the remaining portion.

i was quoted 1% as a buyer. 2% for the seller.
Total commission is 3%
