Hi, currently I owned a monitor which have an 3.55mm audio output connected to a PC. Planning to get a PS5 soon. How do I get to share the speaker between the PS 5 and PC when I am using one of it without the hassle of unplugging and plugging it. Is there any device or converter to do it ?

In theory, yes. Bcos, the speaker don't have complicated circuit to prioritise source. Who goes 1st. But plz go to yt to see more info.

Oh, if just both on, no sound is try to output at the same time,. It ok.

Was thinking to get one also due to the hassle of the cable connection. But if I use bluetooth speaker, my PC will need to use bluettooth also to connect right? Also does PS5 need a separate adapter or it can detect the bluetooth itself ?

No la. Aiyo. U funny. LMAO.πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

I don't have ps5 or any console. So I searched ps5 spec. To see what I can do. Also I have china made cheap Bluetooth speaker and edifier s1000ab shelf speaker. So I play around with my hp. It doable.

Ok got it haha, was a bit tech noob here. Do you have a sample of the splitter you mentioned? Might get the splitter first to use with the current speaker.

What yr speaker model? The spliter cable might short in length in so clutter. And u need DIY to extend. Or need more cable.
Better use Bluetooth.

Using the Logitech Z213. Ya agree with the clutter. Thanks for the tips. Might consider a mid range bluetooth speaker.

No need to be so complicated. Buy a speaker that has 2 rca jacks, such as edifier C7X, S350db, S1000mkii.

One rca to 3.5mm cable connect to your PC. (PC MODE)

Another rca to 3.5mm cable connect to your monitor. (Aux mode)

When you playing on PC, turn on PC MODE on your speaker.

When you playing on ps5 (which the HDMI is connect to your monitor), switch to aux mode.

That's how I setup on my PC/PS5 audio.

Ps: I don't recommend Bluetooth mode due to significant delay.

Ps2: Buy a good speaker for better gaming experience.

yes, it may need some money to invest in order to get good sound. But good monitor/TV and good speaker are essential for gaming environment.

Your monitor got 3.5mm audio jack right? So that mean your PC using HDMI/DP to connect to the monitor and from the monitor to speaker. Right? There's no need for splitter or whatever.

The setup is like this :

1. PC to monitor using HDMI/DP = Both pic and audio using the same cable. (My PC using DP to monitor so I got extra 2 HDMI port for both my PS5/Series X)

2. PC goes to HDMI/DP port, PS5 goes to HDMI 1/2 port.

3. On the monitor, use speaker/soundbar with 3.5mm jack to connect.

4. So by using this setup, any device that connect to the monitor will share the speaker by selecting which input you use.

p/s : Please avoid using bluetooth connection for gaming coz got audio delay. And it really a bad move if play fps games

Hi, yes. This is exactly my setup. Just don't have the PS 5 yet. My monitor now connects a DP cable to my PC. Guess it will be easier just by using this setup you recommend. Thanks. Will try it.

Thanks for the tips. Yes I have a speaker to my PC now and the PC using DP cable to the monitor. When I got the Ps5 will connect a HDMI. Understand now. Thanks
