Guys I just have the green line issue with my mi 11 ultra ahhh why Xiaomi flagship qc so problematic

Then habislah a lot of phone using their panel even apple

So buy what phone now also dun know

They are only a couple of AMOLED suppler on the market globally

The top is of cause Samseng
The far second one is maybe LG

Only some flagship in china use china panel which is unproven and most only sell in china aka only china rom

All the top phone maker use Samseng panel for their flagship even apple

So I dun know where to go if want a flagship phone without Samseng panel

Edit I tried to find who made the panel for Xiaomi 14 series does anybody know?

Well if it's true at least not a Samseng panel

But also true TCL has unproven record so it can be good or worst

But after trying miui and facing it's hords or bugs and issue

And now green line

I also have black shark 1 which is another Xiaomi spinoff which has a fried nobo won't turn on

Also mi 11series is also known for fried wifi where the wifi just stop working as well as fried mobo due to the 888soc I knew the mi 11 ultra also has such issue b4 I bought it which is why I made sure it does not overheat...unfortunately I got the green line instead lol

Sorry at this point I'm just ranting here but No more china phone for me lah. I'm scared liao

Narrow design of the bottom bezels hmmmm... that could explain why my Samsung note 3 screen is still ok almost 11 yrs latter

Damn I really hate these design compromise in the pursuit of narrow bezel but come at the cost of durability

Anyway for modern narrow bottom bezels of modern phones any tips on how to prevent green line or pro long the life b4 the appearance of green line

Or the green line is just the luck of the draw?

Yeap the mi 11 series got fried mobo and overheat issue

My mi 11 ultra for green line liao but dats probably due to Samsung panel

Also miui full of bugssss

A lot of weird problem like for eg. I face prob like I need to close one program for another one to work properly

Sometime app won't update on play store I have to clear data and cache for the app to work again

Delayed notification

Another weird problem I face is sometime app gets update on play store and that app that got updated setting will change for eg. My Gboard change to light node out of a sudden this does not happen often but it sometime will happen or when I clone an app the app will loose it's setting

App get kill even after I set them not to be kill

A lot of bloatware but I heard this is much less of hyperos

Camera sometime cannot work after long uptime and need a phone reboot

Etc

Many more I can't remember now

I'm not sure if hyper os have fix them or not

Haih maybe just bad luck for me I pick the mi 11 ultra as I love the camera

Unfortunately too many issue partly due to the 888 soc and Xiaomi use a very thin board design for the 11 series hence many fried wifi and mobo issue.

Hope they keep improve Incase Samseng s24u fail me I might consider Xiaomi 14 ultra if they dun use Samseng panel on their 14 ultra

Do you know what panel they use on the 14 ultra?

My Samseng note 3 lasted till today almost 11yrs bro

The sd8g3 is from tsmc so should be ok

Green line issue some said ledi fix in s23 series...touch wood lahh

In the world of flagship android not much choice bro

It's Samseng Xiaomi oppo and maybe vivo and honor

I ledi kena on Xiaomi mi 11

What else left for me?

Realme gt 5g have serve me well but camera is not flagship level also support is a question for me

Both oppo and vivo flagship I no confident and I dun even know about their support good or not here in Malaysia. Same thing with honor

Last last Samseng lah and since they seem to have fix the green line on the s23 hope it won't happen on the s24 lahhh

What about the 14 ultra I can't find any info on its display supplier

Seem many china oem have switch from Samseng after the green line defect which is good. This will teach Samseng a lesson

Hopefully these Chinese oem will never switch back to Samseng and keep improving it's domestic OLED tech that will keep Samseng on it's toes from being a monopoly since they never had any real competitor for so long

At that price curve screen also worth it

Biggest issue for me is the Xiaomi hyper os bugs

A lot of ppl seem to say hyperos is not much difference from miui less bloat but bug still there

Correct it's after major os update the bug start coming

The number of times weird bug really cause me untold amount of stress

I use m1 ii ultra the camera is good but the software bug I cannot tahan

End up back to Samseng where the camera is not as good as the Xiaomi 14 ultra but i can't go through Xiaomi buggy os anymore.

Unless 1 condition

U buy the Xiaomi 14 ultra just for the camera

Thats it any bug u just ignore and use other phone for the rest...then if u dun mind these condition then can go ahead

From what I've seen the 14 ultra camera is good better than s24 u

Yeah the s24u already have two patch which maybe improve the camera also.

they still haven't fix all the bug in hyperos ahhh even in the global version haiyahhh

I think the hot weather these days only make the problem worst

Especially I shoot 4k60fps
