Reviving this thread since ZX4R/SE/RR isn't coming to Malaysia anytime soon, the 450RR is as close as we can get in that category.

In China, the ZX4RR is 12000US$~ while the Kove 450RR is set to <6000US$. I know the difference could be import tax and locally built in China. Considering the tax and stuff, could 450RR be in the ZX25R msrp? who knows till it's announced.

My question here is, what/who is AFY Mobility Industries? Based off their website, they have multiple brands on hand, Suzuki, MV Gusta and other unknown brands of bikes.

Does anyone know their services/spare parts quality? Do they already have their own service centers or will they open up their own service centers or will this be another MForce serviced brand? If MForce, then bummer.

AFY is short for Ahmad Faez bin Tan Sri Yahaya,

Group Executive Chairman of KMSB Motors SB, (Formerly known as Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.)
They have been dealing with Kawasaki in Msia since the very beginning, until Modesaki...

A bit of history here.

If the price is right, might as well have it as a second bike. already have a Z250 if shit hits the fan. Only thing I'm worried is the service center. if it's MForce, god help us all.

this video originated from douyin, this guy do engine teardown to analyse the built quality etc.

one trick you can use to translate, each time the sub shows on vid, u pause it, and use another phone with google translate etc hover over the display, it will translate in real time, no nid to shoot any photo, then play the vid again.

AFY Mobility Industries has officially launched the Kove 450R, 450 Rally, and 800X GT in Malaysia — priced at RM34,000, RM40,000, and RM49,000 respectively.

Good for the respective segments but after almost 3 years still nothing on 450rr sportsbike which was shown at 2023 MotoGP

That 450R looks like baby z1000 with sugomi-ish design.
Good for inline-4 fans. 65hp at 12000 rpm, very revvy

KOVE founder Zhang Xue left the company to set up another motorcycle company that has his name.

So fast edy launch their second bike, the Zhang Xue ZX500-F, before Honda could even launch their CB500 SuperFour.

My wife is waiting for the chance to test ride it in Zhejiang. When we checked out their showroom last month in Wenzhou, only got the ZX500-RR.

That bike is one interesting bike. Would make for a stonking good daily. 169kg dry is damn light for a 4 cyc. Probably about 185 wet with fuel.

Seems like the newer Chinese manufacturers are shedding off the heavy as fark stigma of their bikes. Kove also doing good things on that front. No doubt that some of the lightweight DNA has made its way to ZX
