Sounds like she's being with you out of convenience or pity. She could be already be stringing you along until the other guy seal the deal.

I'd say the bad thing is that if you really loved this girl then surely such explaination hurts as the ending is approaching, but the good thing you are now presented with other options while still being able to enjoy certain activities with her while it lasted.

Start moving on and looking around man... so you won't feel that hurt when the end comes.

In my opinion,
it sounds like the gf has experienced lots of disappointment in the relationship to want to accept an arranged marriage and give TS the ultimatum.
Normally, girls don't do this unless something is wrong with the relationship itself already.

We should hear the other side of the story before making a judgement.
